Delete your data

You can remove Getuser’s access to your Instagram or TikTok account, and the data that came with it, at any time.

What Getuser deletes

The connected account: its id, username, name, profile picture and account type.
Its access keys, so Getuser can no longer post for you.
Posts that were still waiting to go out to that account are canceled.

Posts already published stay on Instagram or TikTok; delete them there. Your videos in Getuser stay until you delete them or your Getuser account.

In Getuser: Accounts › Disconnect. Everything above is deleted at once.
On Instagram: in settings, open Apps and websites and remove Getuser. Instagram tells Getuser, and Getuser deletes the access keys and stops posting; the account shows as disconnected in Getuser until you remove it there.
Through Meta: if you ask for your data to be deleted, Meta tells Getuser, and Getuser deletes everything above and gives you a confirmation code you can check on this page.
On TikTok: in settings, open the apps you gave access to (under security and permissions) and remove Getuser. TikTok tells Getuser, and Getuser deletes the access keys and stops posting; the account shows as disconnected in Getuser until you remove it there.
To delete everything Getuser keeps about you, delete your Getuser account under Account, or email us.
